CONAN THE BARBARIAN #167 COVER The power and savagery of this famous fictional warrior is captured perfectly in this 1985 entry. Although Kaluta rendered many covers for the Conan the King series, this is the only one ever drawn for Conan the Barbarian. It's painted and signed by the artist. |

GIL KANE
1961 SHOWCASE #36 p. 8 An outstanding twice-up size art page from the third Silver Age Atom appearance. There's lots of action, a nice vertical sidebar, and the hero figured prominently in all panels. It's also signed by both Gil Kane and Murphy Anderson. Murphy, a legendary artist in his own right, adds a spectacular finish to Kane's pencils here. |

1966 FANTASTIC FOUR #55 P.1 SPLASH The first battle between the Thing and the Silver Surfer is a highly memorable story for many early Marvel collectors. This is the opening page to that tale showcasing most of the F.F. team members. With finishes by Joe Sinnott, this period is considered by many to be Kirby's best and most creative. |
